THE BRIEF

Since joining Earthly’s Customer Advisory Board in April 2023, I have worked closely with their team to provide strategic feedback, particularly on the development of their customer dashboard. This dashboard is a key feature that showcases the environmental investments and impact a company has made through Earthly's nature-based solutions. Given that the dashboard is public-facing and available for Earthly’s clients to share on their own websites, it serves as a critical communication tool for companies to highlight their sustainability efforts. My contributions have been centred around optimising the content and structure of the dashboard to ensure it resonates with Earthly’s clients and their target audiences.

Dashboard Feedback and Optimisation

A significant portion of my work involves providing detailed feedback on Earthly’s customer dashboard. I’ve focused on aligning the dashboard’s content with what I believe our website visitors and target audience are most interested in seeing. This includes suggestions on how best to display a company’s investment in nature, the impact of their carbon reduction efforts, and how to make the data both engaging and easy to understand for external stakeholders.

By offering insights from a customer perspective, I have helped Earthly ensure the dashboard effectively showcases the value of sustainability investments to diverse audiences.

Tailoring Content to Target Audiences

As part of my feedback, I’ve been instrumental in guiding Earthly on how to balance the varying needs of different client types. I provided insights into the expectations and interests of our own website visitors and compared those to the needs of Earthly’s broader client base. This allowed Earthly to refine the dashboard to better cater to the interests of all their customers, ensuring the content was relevant, impactful, and aligned with each company’s sustainability goals.

My work extends beyond the dashboard to reviewing and refining Earthly’s overall content strategy. I provide feedback on their public-facing communications, ensuring that the information about their services and impact is both clear and compelling.
